World Famouse British White Fiver
Probably the most famous British Banknote is the white fiver bank note. First issued in the late 17th Century and finally withdrawn in 1956, these classic notes have always been popular with collectors. We’re delighted to have brought a small hoard of these rare notes. They are dated from 1950’s and are VIRTUALLY MINT CONDITION – a grade that is very difficult to obtain. Even if you don’t collect banknotes, they would be beautiful if framed on the wall. We only have a few notes available and we must limit it to one per customer.
(Framed) £249.50
THE CLASSIC BLUE BRITANIA FIVER
This beautiful note superseded the white fiver in 1955 and was issued up until 1960. There obverse shows the stunning portrait of Britannia while the reverse shows the lion. These notes have seen a little circulation however they are still fairly crisp and undamaged, beautifully framed.
